In 2023 Ligne Roset re-issued their emblematic Kashima Model, stating that it is the "comfortable Chesterfield". Kashima, designed by Michel Ducaroy, offers classic customers "English" Comfort.
Entirely made of foam of two different densities, the seat and backrest are made identically. With twin needle overstitching for all seams, buttoning and a fully quilted cover with pinched seams at the corners, the attention to detail is exquisite.
